Patriot or terrorist? McVeigh? Menachem Begin? Founding
Fathers? History has defined a thin line between patriotism and terrorism.
Today's mass murderer has often been tomorrow's patriot.
Prominent men, our nation's founding fathers, organized "themselves into the "Sons of Liberty"--secret organizations formed to protest the Stamp Act, often through violent means. From Massachusetts to South Carolina, the act was nullified, and mobs, forcing luckless customs agents to resign their offices, destroyed the hated stamps." Were the
founding fathers, and their mobs, terrorists trying to overthrow the legitimate government
or, like McVeigh, men angry at the government who had decided that anti-government
violence was proper? How do we -- in the politically correct atmosphere of the
United States at the start of the 21st century -- distinguish between brave people willing
to stand up for their believes from terrorists, when both have historically used the same
approach, violence against and killing of people associated with the government.
Many mass murderers actually believed that they were doing a great mission for a great
reason that most of civilized society could not see. In Timothy McVeigh's case he believed
that someone had to respond to the U.S. Governments killing of woman and children, which
had occurred exactly two years before his assault on the government building in Oklahoma.

In Begin's case he decided he had to drive the British out, and killing innocent wives and children of British government employees was proper. But Begin's organization wanted still more blood and "On July 22, 1946, the Irgun blew up a wing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, killing 91 soldiers and civilians (British, Arab, and Jewish). On April 9, 1947, a group of Irgun commandos raided the Arab village of Dayr Yasin (modern Kefar Sha'ul), killing all 254 of its inhabitants. Were Begin,
McVeigh and America's founding fathers sane people? Were they acting on evil or
nationalistic impulses. Were they cold blooded murders or freedom fighters?
Are they now doomed to eternal hell fires, or did their causes make them guilt free? Are
mass murderers and purveyors of violence always sick and pathetic? Or are they just angry
and ready to overthrow those who cause the anger? Were Israeli and American patriots
simply individuals with incredibly low self control or brave people willing to die for
their cause? Do you believe some mass murderers really have the possession of
the "extraordinary wisdom" they claim as they kill or tar and feather or drive
women and children from their homes?
At "The Mass Murder Website" members.fortunecity.com/hiperaktiv/
there is an attempt to unfold the mystery of murderer characteristics, statistics
and attempts to analyze the mentality of "politically incorrect" mass
murderers. Read up and see if the politically correct mass murders (patriots) fit the same
profile. Then, answer for yourself -- was McVeigh a patriot, mass murderer or both?
