Dick's Guide to Gun Control

Gun control is an interesting issue.  Many people are killed by guns wielded by
FBI and ATF agents, the police, teenage boys and criminals.  The IRS waves
guns in people's faces when they break into people's businesses.  Perhaps we
should take all guns and ban them.  We know that government bans on liquor and
drugs work. Today's drug laws and yesterday's prohibition had enormous success
on putting Americans out of the drug and liquor business. On the other hand
we have this damn constitution, written by terrorists (we call them "patriots") who
wanted everyone to be able to have guns, in case America's new government should
become oppressive.  Today, we all know that America is now safe.  We are blessed
as a nation ruled by lawyers and under law.  It is highly unlikely that America will ever
have to suffer the terrible burdens of THIS government's taxes.  American democracy
and the magnificent two party system will ensure nothing but blessings to all

I decided to do this page on April 28, 1998, when I read about the brave protest against
killing children with guns.  Cruel hearted killers, lurking in the bushes, like FBI agents at
Ruby Ridge, might have slaughtered the protestors.  The fear of death did not sway them,
however.  These brave protestors used the famous Show protest approach to symbolize
U.S. child deaths by guns.  With tears in their eyes, these people are ready to abolish  the
so called Bill of Rights protection written by America's so called patriots.  Unlike yesterday's
foolish idiots who wanted no government controls for owning weapons these protestors knew
today's truths, America's handgun makers are responsible for the shooting deaths of
thousands of children. In future "Silent Marches," these fighters for a government unencumbered
by a Bill of Rights, shall demonstrate against gun manufacturers in Massachusetts, Connecticut,
Maryland, Virginia and Georgia. It is unlikely that these folks will be shot by gun wielding
police or FBI agents, since they see the obvious need for government police to be the only
ones with guns.  They see the need for the FBI agents, for example, to shoot gun wielding
