Synopsis: William Jefferson Clinton, the Governor of Arkansas, won the democratic party's presidential nomination in 1992. He defeated George Bush and went on to win a second presidential term in 1996. He had two big advantages over George Bush. Americans did not trust Washington politicians, and Clinton was not a Washington politician. His second advantage was that George Bush had lied to the American public to win the 1988 presidential election. Bush told Americans, in a widely publicized TV commercial, that -- no matter what Congress might want in the way of new taxes -- he would tell Congress, "read my lips! No new taxes!" A few months after winning the election Bush approved a massive tax increase. With the nation's distrust of Washington politicians, and the obvious fact that Bush had lied about taxes, it was surprising the 1992 election was as close as it was. William Clinton became the new president, and went on to further destroy American's faith in the presidency. Clinton turned out to be a lying, two-faced, adulterer and womanizer, who gained the office with his own first lie, telling the American people in a TV chat that he did not have a serious relationship with a lounge singer named Jennifer Flowers. His wife, Hillary Clinton, sat by his side and nodded in assent to her lying husband's words. Yet, in some ways, Clinton was just what the nation needed. He set an exemplary role model for America's children, especially the young boys of America, who had been brainwashed by man-hating lesbian feminists.
