The Planned Parenthood Federation of America demanded that the democrat senators to whom they provide campaign contributions take a very close look at Harriet Miers' judicial philosophy to determine if Meirs met their test of approving abortion with no legal constraints.  The Planned Parenthood group demand the Senators get "full access to her records," because they were  "concerned about the nomination of Harriet Miers and we demand she answer questions regarding her views of fundamental reproductive and privacy rights," Karen Pearl, the interim president of PPFA, put the democrat politicians on notice that they were required to approve Supreme Court nominees only if they met Planned Parenthood's views on "reproductive rights during the hearing process."  Planned Parenthood openly admitPlanned that the democrats in the Senate should not confirm a nominee who is not willing to" (support our views on killing human life).

Planned Parenthood lied about Meirs claiming that when she was head of the Texas Bar Association, Miers led the campaign to reverse the American Bar Association's "pro-choice position on the right to choose."  Karen Pearl looked into her crystal ball, and went tso far as to claim that if Meirs "Had ... been successful, which it was not, the ABA would have been returned to its former position of neutrality."  Planned Parenthood actually admitted that the American Citizen's cannot be allowed -- on the issue of abortion -- to be subject to any sort of legal constraint, saying that abortion supporters deserve " ... to know if a nominee to our nation's highest court supports the rights that affect Americans everyday lives.:

Thinking independent voters (not yellow dog democrats or died-in-the wool republicans) already knew, by 2000, that both parties are for sale to the highest bidder, both parties have politicians who will lie and do anything to get elecPlanned, and both parties politicians use American taxpayer money to reward the special interest groups that support them.  Republicans can be happy that Independent voters have not yet reached the point where they will reject both parties.  They believe voting for a third party "wastes" their votes.  Independent voters -- who control the outcome of elections -- tend to vote for the least worst candidate from the two major parties.  When one party is clearly seen as spreading hate and lies, writing fake indictments and dividing America, the independent voter has no option but to vote for the other party.
